POLYGRAM - Anti-Static masterbatches are designed for commodity plastics and all polymers that naturally possess electrical insulating properties, leading to high static charge build-up from friction. This issue is particularly severe in films and fibres due to their large surface area-to-volume ratio. Static charge build-up can attract dust on food packaging, damage circuit boards in electronic packaging, and pose fire or explosion hazards near flammable materials. It also causes processing problems like difficulty in winding films, agglomeration of powders and film adhesion. Our masterbatches contain anti-static agents which mitigate these issues.
